Ypsi Free Student Ministries

Our youth ministry exists to reach non-believing students (6th grade through college), to connect them with other Christians, to help them grow in their faith, and to challenge them, growing to discover their ministry and honor God with their life. The most effective way to influence students is through significant relationships with key people in their lives. Our goal is to provide the people and programs that will enable every student, who chooses, to grow in relationship with God and others.

Third Day (3D)

Wednesdays from 7:00-8:15 PM

This is our weekly student gathering. It is designed to shatter the "church is boring" stereotype and help students celebrate life. It is filled with laughter, games, video, drama, giveaways, discussion, and a message that nudges students towards spiritual growth. On the third Wednesday of the month, junior high and senior high students join together for the evening.

Special events occur monthly throughout the year and are announced in the weekly HiLights and on bulletin boards. These regular group events--including, concerts, parties, paint ball, skiing, fund-raisers, outreach events--are high energy, high social, fun gatherings designed to build life-long memories and group unity, as well as build bridges to reach out to others.

Cell Groups

Sundays from 6:00-7:30 PM

We all need to weather the storms of life. If you're looking for a place to connect, meet new friends, and find encouragement and hope to live life well - then join a cell group.

Grow U.

Sundays from 9:30-10:30 AM

These growth level classes are designed to move you towards spiritual maturity. Any students out there who want a little more? Go a little deeper? Be stretched by God's word? Then Grow U. is for you.

Ministry Teams

Ministry teams are formed as students get involved. We believe that movement toward spiritual maturity includes getting involved and meeting the needs of others. We hope that students discover the joy of serving others by using their gifts. Examples of teams could include: drama, service projects, music, worship, missions, prayer, greeting, media, computers, children's ministry, etc.
