Worship at Ypsi Free

Worship is a vital focus of our church life. We respond to God's love by worshipping Him. Therefore, our corporate worship times as a congregation are of highest priority.

Sunday services are designed to help aid worshippers in expressing their adoration to God. In true worship there is the opening of the heart to God's love, the surrender of the will to His purpose, and the nourishment of the mind with His truth.

Ypsi Free currently offers two Sunday worship services:

• traditional style worship service at 9:00 a.m.
• contemporary style worship service at 11:00 a.m.

Newcomers are encouraged to visit both services to determine which of the services is most conducive to their expression of worship.

Information for First-Time Visitors

If you are searching for a group of people to accept you where you are and challenge you to grow in your reflection of God's love, WELCOME. That is our mission: to "be disciples, and make disciples." We invite you to join with us as we seek to know God in worship, through personal growth and in Christian community.

• Childcare - Childcare is available at both services. Our nursery and children's classes provide a nurturing, well-supervised program for infants and children through 5th grade.
• Offering - Please do not feel obligated to give an offering. The offering is for our regular attendees who consider Ypsi Free their church home.
• Time of Prayer - We customarily kneel during our congregational prayer time. Please feel free to sit or kneel for prayer.
• Helping People Hear - We have personal hearing assist devices for use during the service. Please see one of the ushers.
• Prayer Room - Following he worship service the prayer room (located directly to the right of the platform) will be open to answer questions about faith in Christ and to pray with you individually.
• Welcome Desk - Please visit our Welcome Desk in the lobby. We have some information about our church that we would like you to have. Someone will be there to answer any questions you may have about Ypsi Free.
