At YpsiFree, we believe God created us for community - 
we are meant to live in a relationship with Jesus and each other.
One of the best sources of meaningful community is to gather with community.  
In these groups, we open ourselves to becoming formed as people
 who love God, love all people, and follow Jesus together.

Sisters in Christ

Sisters in Christ is open to women from all walks of life, seasons of experience, and perches of perspective, who are seeking a Jesus-loving community to grow closer to Jesus, and each other, through Bible study and the love and compassion of Jesus. We will use a Video Presentation by Francis Chan to dive deep into the Book of James, using a study guide and follow-up discussion, guided by the Holy Spirit, to discover the wisdom James has to share with us concerning faith and works, trials and evil.  We will gather, grow, and go for Jesus, to spread His love.

As we love God, love all people, and follow Jesus, we want to become the people of God He has made us to be, to do what He has called us to for His glory.  We cannot do that through willpower; we need the Spirit’s empowerment. Prayer is placing ourselves in the space to receive and give. Gather to pray with others to receive from God, give to God as he forms us, and be engaged on mission for Him.

Join us for Upper Room prayer each Thursday morning in February. We will start promptly at 7am. When you log in, we will likely already be in prayer – so just dive right in!  

We will give prayer prompts during this 30 minute prayer. You may also pay attention to the chat box, as we can post prayer prompts there as well.  
To help you begin, we will start each prayer time exalting our Savior, declaring his goodness and listing evidence of his presence and power. We will pray prayers of surrender – because he is a God we can trust! And we will ask God to empower us to bring light into dark spaces, joy to the hopeless and full life to those without.  I can’t wait to join you in the Upper Room!

The JOY Bible Study group welcomes male and female seniors. We meet once a month to study the scriptures and fellowship with like-minded believers in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. We are studying the Patriarchs of the Old Testament in the book of Genesis, along with the book “Walking with the Patriarchs” by David Hasey.

The purpose for our group is to grow deeper in God’s word and his love as we live it out to those around us.

Do you have a trading card collection?  Would you like to meet others who have collections and are willing to buy, sell, trade?  The Good News Collectors Club is a chance to meet fellow collectors, swap cards, and hear stories about God’s love for us using trading card terminology. Special guests, speakers, and collections will be available to trade with and learn from.  Bring friends, family, and yourself!  It is a great arena to hear about Jesus!

One way YpsiFree loves God and love all people is to create space for community group focusing on the healing process for those that mourn.  GriefShare community starts on Saturday, September 7 to Saturday, December 7 at YpsiFree.
