Community Groups
At YpsiFree, we believe God created us for community -
we are meant to live in a relationship with Jesus and each other.
One of the best sources of meaningful community is to gather with community.
In these groups, we open ourselves to becoming formed as people
who love God, love all people, and follow Jesus together.
Sundays
Mondays
Gilbert Residence – A Friendly Bible Study
2nd & 4th Monday | 1/12/26 – 12/21/26, ongoing, Gilbert residents only

A group of memory care residents meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month to sing hymns with piano accompaniment and to participate in a verse-by-verse Bible Study, currently covering the Book of Luke. Meetings are held in the Activity Center, where residents gather for various events and receive assistance from staff, family, and volunteers.

Sisters in Christ is designed for women who desire to live out their Christian faith by studying the Word in an atmosphere of fellowship and encouragement. To start this year, we will begin with a 6-week study of the Beatitudes from Matthew 5. "Becoming Like Jesus" is a video series guided by Matt Chandler, who will lead us to better reflect God's Kingdom in all circumstance.

To help you begin, we will start each prayer time exalting our Savior, declaring his goodness and listing evidence of his presence and power. We will pray prayers of surrender – because he is a God we can trust! And we will ask God to empower us to bring light into dark spaces, joy to the hopeless and full life to those without.

Living Faith is a group for individuals in their 20s and 30s who seek to learn and live out their faith. We study scripture to learn and practice the ways of Jesus. Our group meets for weekly study with seasonal outings and events.

Part of our commitment at YpsiFree is to study scripture, and to share what we learn from the Holy Spirit through interactions with others and through mission/service. In this group, we will study scripture individually each day, write 3 to 5 minute summaries of the messages we hear, and share one of those messages with the group when we gather for our bi-weekly meetings. We will also prayerfully commit to at least one act of service, inspired by our study, during the 4th quarter of 2026.
Good News Collectors Club

Do you have a trading card collection? Would you like to meet others who have collections and are willing to buy, sell, or trade? The Good News Collectors Club is a chance to meet fellow collectors, swap cards, and hear stories about God’s love for us using trading card terminology. Special guests, speakers, and collections will be available to trade with and learn from. Bring friends, family, and yourself! It is a great arena to hear about Jesus!
